This five-week, intermediate course in wine tasting and wine analysis is focused to take you to the next level through the world of wine and to a solid understanding of what makes good wine. Whether you are a new collector or a serious recreational enthusiast. This course will also help you get more value for your wine dollar.

Topics Include:

  • Components: A review of acid, tannin, alcohol and fruit.
  • Oak: Which wines are oaked and why.
  • Terrior: There are three different interpretations of the French concept of terrior, each of them controversial.
  • Wine Regions: North West North America .
  • France : The world's leading wine country (focusing on Bordeaux).
  • Gourmet Dinner: An evening at Packrat Louis.
