Gerard Bertrand, a famed winemaker in the South of France, brings forth the Orange Gold 2021—a unique and innovative wine inspired by the ancient tradition of orange wines originating from Georgia. This wine is crafted predominantly from Grenache Blanc, complemented by other Mediterranean varietals like Viognier, Marsanne, Mauzac, Muscat, and Roussanne. The terroir, with its limestone and clay soils, imparts a distinct minerality and freshness to the wine.

The winemaking process includes extended skin contact, which lasts up to two weeks, allowing the wine to develop its characteristic amber color and complex aromas. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and acidity, while partial aging takes place in neutral oak barrels, adding subtle texture and roundness.

Orange Gold has received acclaim for its distinctive profile, blending freshness with the intricate depth associated with orange wines. Gerard Bertrand’s commitment to biodynamics is reflected in this wine, making it not only a sensory adventure but also a sustainable choice.
