A very lucky guy!  His passion for wine started when he was at the University of Alberta as an undergrad his palate was more attuned to wine rather than beer.  And then it began a partner in The Wine Line in the mid-eighties and then after several other careers, in 2004 BIN 104 was established and he hasn’t looked back since. Bill’s favourite quote is “I get to get up every morning and make my living in the world of wine! What a beautiful life.”  He is a wine enthusiast in search of the next great glass.

Jodh Singh began his service industry journey at Franklin's Family Restaurants in 1987. He was Managing Partner of Ric's Grill Terwillegar, and then of Select, Lyon and Packrat Louie Restaurants from early in the 2000's. Following a stint as the best dressed restaurateur at Derks Uniforms and Men's Wear, he has landed as a partner and teammate at BIN 104 Fine Wine & Spirits. His passion is people and how he can help make the experience between food and wine as satisfying and exciting as possible. With his experience in finer dining as his foundation, he is expanding his knowledge and expertise, ready to share with you the world of fine wine and spirits at BIN 104.

Dix is BIN 104’s Sommelier and a graduate of the International Sommelier Guild’s (ISG) Diploma program and has also received her ASP (Advanced Sake Professional) from courses she took in Japan.  She’s been involved in Edmonton’s wine and spirit industry for 20+ years. Dix was in the theatre arts for the first part of her career sharing her time between Edmonton, Calgary, Banff & Toronto.  Along the way she entered into the service industry and was a bartender at various restaurants in the city where she developed her love of wine.  We call her Bubbles because sparkling wines as she says “are my desert island drink”.  She has also coined the infamous wine descriptors that we use with conspiratorial amounts of delight “Yummy & Yucky”.

After a 15-year professional hockey career—three of them were with the Edmonton Oilers—Doug retired in Edmonton and from a love of wine cultivated in Europe at the end of his career, jumped into the liquor industry opening Crestwood wines in the mid 90’s and then with Hicks Fine Wines and now almost 30 years later here he was drafted by BIN 104.  Doug is back stick handling throughout BIN 104 scoring goals and assists in wine selection and food pairing for BIN 104 fans.

A young woman with a mission, she is a professional personal trainer with in-person and online training programs www.elavatedbodies.org .   Jackie has a dream to have her business & her backyard in wine country one day.  She is interested in all aspects of the wine business and is always happy to share her knowledge with BIN 104 customers.

It is said that he raised from the ashes and found his palate for wine at BIN 104.  After close to 38 years at The Brick Warehouse, Dave joined BIN 104 in 2016 and this is when his wine adventure began.  At any instore wine tasting we have had Dave’s favorite wine has always been the most unique or expensive wine on the menu.   Go figure – he knows what he likes and his palate is genuine!
