Vigna Elena is an uncompromising Barolo, a wine for Barolo purists. In its history it has not undergone changes to satisfy the market or to follow taste trends. The Cogno family meticulously follows and respects all the experience handed down by the grandparents to create a Barolo of majestic honesty: the choice of the Nebbiolo Rosé clone exceptionally used in purity, the breeding system, the lower yields due to the mention ” Vigna ”, the indigenous yeasts, the maturation rigorously in large barrels, combine together with the particular microclimate to give life to the Barolo Ravera Riserva Vigna Elena, produced exclusively in the best years. All these precautions give a wine of absolute elegance, worthy of its history, its tradition and its denomination.
