San Felipe Malbec is crafted by Bodegas La Rural, a historic Argentinian winery located in the famed Mendoza region, known for producing some of the world’s best Malbecs. The wine is made from 100% Malbec grapes, which are grown in vineyards situated at altitudes of over 900 meters, benefiting from the ideal combination of high-altitude sun exposure and cooler temperatures. This environment allows the grapes to develop deep fruit concentration alongside balanced acidity. The wine undergoes a malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with a portion of the wine aged in French oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. This process imparts a subtle oak influence, adding complexity and softening the tannins. San Felipe Malbec has garnered attention for its exceptional value and consistent quality, often praised by critics and wine lovers alike for its authenticity and rich character.
