Quinta Nova Vintage Port is crafted from a blend of traditional Douro grape varietals, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão, sourced from the estate’s prime vineyards. The estate, Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, carries a rich history dating back to 1764 and is situated along the Douro River in the heart of the renowned Douro Valley. The wine is vinified with traditional lagar foot-treading in granite troughs and aged in seasoned oak vats for two to three years before bottling to allow the powerful fruity character to shine while developing complexity. Notable for its ability to age gracefully for decades, it has garnered accolades for its depth and finesse. This port exudes historical and cultural significance as it embodies the legacy of the region and the craft of producing outstanding Portuguese ports.
